DAILY FILE – A pastor of NKST Church, Bristow, in Gboko local area of Benue state, name (withheld) has on saturday 30th March,2019 allegedly ordered catholic faithfuls participating in the wedding procession to the alter not to participate.
DAILY FILE observed that many social media users in Benue have reported that though the wedding took place.
But,the pastor insisted that it was a law adopted by the NKST church which does not allow a non NKST members to participate in the church’s activities like wedding, although they can only be guests.
However, one of the NKST member who prefers anonymity told our reporter that the decision was to preserve the church doctrines and rules which outsiders have broken time without numbers.
It learnt that the pastor’s decision did not go down well with the wedding guests, as many called for the review of the law saying such laws were out dated “especially now that Christianity was facing challenge of unity”
