DAILY FILE – The Nigeria Union of Journalists ,(NUJ) Kaduna State Council has declared a three-day mourning period in honour of Late Hamish Ado (our messenger),who died early hours of today 8th January , 2019.
Hamisu as he was popularly called, served the Council and individuals for over 31 years and died on active service.
Comrade John Femi Adi ,Secretary,Kaduna state Council,in statement said “Even on hospital bed ,he was still willing to return to his duty post, as NUJ Messenger.
He was an unusual staff ,who was humble ,committed and willing to go all kind of errands”
“Late Hamisu was known as ” NUJ Bank” ,because money kept in his custody was always safe and handy. In fact ,he could be described as ,”Integrity Personified”.
“Hamisu Ado has left a vacuum that would be very difficult to fill.
“He was aged 63 and survived by a wife and eight children .
We pray that God grant his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”
Meanwhile, Late Hamisu,has since been buried in Kaduna.
