MAKURDI – Member, Representing Katsina Ala, Ukum and Logo Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Rt.Hon Emmanuel Memga Udende, has promised to do more for the Sankera contistuents if re-elected in 2019 polls.
In his Christmas message, Udende who is contesting on the platform of All Progressive Grand Alliance ( APGA) appreciated the hard working people of Sankera for the trust reposed in him and for always satanding by him in the past years:” especially for their show of love by electing me to represent you at the National Assembly during my first and second term in office” appealed for support again.
Udende said :”I, Rt. Hon Emmanuel Memga Udende, the Member, Representing Katsina Ala, Ukum and Logo Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, on behalf of myself, family, political associates and the good people of Sankera, hereby felicitate with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Yakubu Dogara, His Excellency, Governor Samuel Ortom, the Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Titus Uba, the ever-great people of Sankera, Benue and, indeed all Nigerians as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ”
The statement continued :”With the support of all stakeholders in Sankera, I was able to influence construction of classroms blocks for community secondary schools, equipt ICT Centres in some schools, provide motorize and hand pump bore holes in each council ward in Sankera, distributed motorcycle, sewing and granding machines, purchased 50 tricycles as part of my Empowerment Scheme for youths as well as provided free Medical Healthcare in all the three local governments of the constituency”
“Don’t forget as the Deputy Chairman House Commitee on Police Affairs, I influenced the recruitment of numerous unemployed youths into the Nigerian Police Force, Federal Civil Service Commision, (FCSC), Federal Road Safety Corp, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Federal Ministries of Agriculture, Health, in addition to several free constituency outreaches for the benefit of my Constituents, just to mention but a few”
Udende added:”As we celebrate the birth of Christ today, may His peace and blessings be upon all of us and restore that same peace in Sankera land, just as it used to be. Dialogue remains the best tool for resolving disputes and this event of the birth of Christ gives us hope in the midst of our challenges. I am confident that with your support, we can still do it. Let’s belive in ourselves as continuity will secure our democracy. I know that our God will deliver us from all our troubles”
“Finally, let me assure you of better days when given another opportunity as it is believed that in the legislative house, experience counts so much. So, I appeal for your unalloyed support to make history in Sankera and give our land the quality representation it deserves” Udende said.
