DAILY FILE – Governor Nasir El-Rufai, of Kaduna state, has on Thursday said, the opinion polls predicting opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s victory at the presidential election are fake and been procured by its candidate,Atiku Abubakar.
Speaking when he received a pro-Buhari’s group ‘Forward With Buhari’ in Government House, Kaduna, the governor urged Nigerians not to take Atiku’s victory prediction seriously.
El- Rufai,commended the group for taking the All Progressives Congress,APC,campaign messages to the grassroot.
According to the governor “What Buhari groups are doing is taking the messages to the grassroot. The group are interacting with grassroot people.They engaging in voters education and mobilising people to vote all APC candidates from top to bottom.It is necessary to addition to the rallies of Buhari’s campaign and efforts of the state campaign council. We thank the team and encourage them”
When asked to comment on the recent opinion poll that predicted Atiku’s victory, the governor said “That opinion polls are fake and procured. In Kaduna state here alone,we do opinion polls using minimum of 2500 samples.The entire national opinion poll commissioned by Atiku had a national samples of 1500. Nobody should take it seriously. They are engineering the opinion polls to give false victory, this is because when they lose the forthcoming elections, they will start protesting saying one firm in America predicted their victory so they must win. They are giving false victory. APC will win with big margin” El-Rufai said.
